Debate - Digital Health is Undermining the Practice of Clinical Medicine

Main Stage
September 23, 2023 | 08:00 AM (PST) - 09:00 AM (PST)

Digital medicine could adversely impact our clinical acumen. Sensor strategies may erode our clinical skills and AI could blunt our empathy and analytic abilities. Will the ‘virtual clinician’ of tomorrow be a downgrade of the ‘traditional clinician’ of today? Or will the rise of digital medicine enhance access, personalized care, global equity and improve health for all? Can we balance the equation elegantly enough to preserve the good, eliminate the bad and build the right future.
