Multidisciplinary Virtual Care & the Virtual Hospital – Fact or Fantasy?

Virtual care is becoming widespread, and many believe that a virtual hospital will become reality in the near future. While this may sound surreal, a lot has been accomplished in digital health that will accelerate the deployment of multidisciplinary virtual care including virtual hospitals. In this session, participants will go on a journey into the future that will enable them to envision what a multidisciplinary virtual hospital will look like, how it can be formed and sustained, and how patient’s safety and wellbeing and the patient and clinician relationship can be protected during such a transition.
