Gloria Nyankima

Dr. Gloria Nyankima works in the Digital Health Center of Excellence for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). She supports policy efforts in the digital health space, including artificial intelligence/machine learning, wearables, and many other software medical devices. She also supports research initiatives involving challenges in AI/ML and serves as a communicator and educator of the Agency’s digital health policy for external and internal stakeholders.

She is an experienced Graduate Research Assistant with a demonstrated history of working in research labs across engineering-disciplines. Skilled in Matlab, Microsoft Office, and operating therapeutic and diagnostic ultrasound systems. With the completion of a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University, she plans to explore the world of regulatory at both the government and industry level.
