Julie Brewer

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

A med tech executive with more than 30 years of healthcare industry experience, Julie Brewer is the the President of Patient Support Systems, Global Surgical Solutions & Care Communications at Baxter International. She was the former president of the Cardiovascular Diagnostics & Services Operating Unit at Medtronic. In CDS – one of 20 operating units at Medtronic – Julie lead a high-growth business focused on driving key strategic priorities in digital healthcare and data by utilizing advanced sensors, AI algorithms, and real-time data to diagnose and manage chronic diseases.

Since joining Medtronic in 2006, Julie has been known as an inspirational leader and people developer, with a strong focus on market development and commercial excellence. In addition to leading the formation of the first Strategic Sales organization at Medtronic, she later led one of the most successful product launches in company history with the launch of the Reveal LINQ™ ICM technology in 2014.

Julie received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is also a founding member of the ASPIRE Women’s Field Resource Group at Medtronic.
