Andrew Sauer

Dr. Andrew J. Sauer is a cardiologist and Associate Professor at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart Institute. He is also clinical trialist focused on innovations to disrupt the status quo for patients suffering from heart failure. Specific interests intersect with cardio-kidney-metabolic disease, obesity as a therapeutic target contributing to heart failure, digital health innovations to improve implementation of guideline directed medical therapies with a particular focus on reducing rural patient disparities in care, and improving non-invasive assessment of congestion both at the point of care and through remote monitoring and telemedicine.
