About Amy Kleinhans, DNP, FHRS

Amy is the Lead Nurse practitioner in the Arrhythmia Service Line at HonorHealth. Amy has nearly 20 years of Cardiac/Electrophysiology Nursing experience. Completing her Doctor of Nursing in 2016, Amy serves a large arrhythmia population in Phoenix and Scottsdale, with a focus on Cardiac Device Management and Atrial Fibrillation. She is certified by the International Board of Heart rhythm Examiners as both an Electrophysiology and Cardiac Device Specialist and holds Fellowship with the Heart Rhythm Society.

Her primary role today is in the program development of the Arrhythmia Service line and has clinical oversight of the Cardiac Device Clinic, the first comprehensive Afib Clinic in the State of Arizona, and is developing HonorHealth’s new Heart Failure/Device Hybrid clinic.

Amy has a specific passion for mentorship and education of those new to the profession of nursing, as well as, the growth of the role of APPs in Specialty areas, such as Afib and Heart Failure.
