About Bindi Shah

Dr. Shah is a practicing cardiac electrophysiologist in Philadelphia and a medical officer in the Office of Cardiac Devices at the Food and Drug Administration. She has a long history in academic electrophysiology, initially on faculty at Weill Cornell Medical School and then Temple University Medical School with a clinical practice at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Temple University Hospital, respectively. She then worked as a Chief Medical Officer at WCG Clinical, overseeing all of their expert committee work in clinical trials, including Data Monitoring and Endpoint Adjudication. She combined her interest in advancing the treatment of heart rhythm disorders with her clinical trial expertise when she joined the FDA in the Division of Cardiac Electrophysiology, Diagnostics and Monitoring Devices. She currently works with FDA while continuing patient care in clinical EP at Lankenau Medical Center in the greater Philadelphia area.
