About Krishna Pundi, MD

Krishna Pundi, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist and health services and outcomes researcher with a clinical interest in the management of ventricular arrhythmias and atrial fibrillation. Dr. Pundi leads a multidisciplinary research program to study (1) clinical and arrhythmia-specific factors that predict cardiovascular risk for ventricular arrhythmias, (2) the interplay of frailty and obesity with atrial fibrillation outcomes, and (3) the role of digital health and wearables in arrhythmia care. He has led grant-funded research through the NIH, FDA, and ACC and collaborations with large device and quality databases including AHA’s Get With the Guidelines. He has a special interest in innovation and regulatory science, having organized national Think Tanks of patients, investigators, and FDA to define the scientific and clinical use of wearable monitors.
