Roger Owens

Roger is currently the CCO for Ultromics Medical focused on Ai based echo diagnostics for diagnosing HFpEF and Amyloid patients. Ultromics is based out of Oxford in the UK and has been commercializing the EchoGo HF in the US since 2024. Prior to joining Ultromics Medical as CCO, Roger was the CCO for Cardiva Medical a vessel closure company based in San Jose, CA for 8 years. Cardiva Medical was focusing on reducing complications and improving workflow efficiencies for multiple minimally invasive procedures. After a successful six year effort to accelerate sales and marketing efforts to a new explosive growth market, the company was sold in 2021 to Haemonetics for $510 M. Roger remained at Haemonetics until August of 2023 supporting the transition and growing the team as well as M&A efforts.
Roger has extensive 30 years experience in both large and small companies working in various roles of responsibility building teams and integrating teams through multiple acquisitions of Intermedics, Guidant, Abbott and Cardiva/Haemonetics. He also engaged in mergers and acquisition and as commercial lead while at Abbott Vascular and Haemonetics.
Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biomedical Science, Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Science degree in Cardiac Physiology from Ohio University.
