Sanna Gaspard

Sanna Gaspard, PhD is the CEO and founder of Rubitection, a health technology startup developing an assessment and care management platform for chronic wounds and dermatological conditions to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. As CEO, she leads business strategy, partnership development, fundraising, product development, and marketing. Driven by a vision to enable anyone to assess and manage chronic skin conditions for personalized care her ultimate goal is to make Rubitection’s solution globally accessible. Some of her recognitions include the 2022 Richard King Mellon Foundation Social Impact Award, 2021 Culture Shift Labs Innovation Competition, 2019 AnitaB PitcHer Award, and 2019 Vinetta Project Award. She earned her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in medical device development.
