Semi-finalists in the HRX Pitch Competition don’t just take the stage, they arrive prepared to shine. Thanks to our partnership with the Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2), each semi-finalist receives professional pitch coaching ahead of HRX Live 2026. M2D2’s experienced mentors help refine presentations, sharpen messaging, and maximize impact, giving every innovator the tools to deliver their best pitch.
Lumia is the first wearable Continuous Blood Flow Monitor (CBFM). Just as CGMs transformed diabetes care, Lumia’s wearable Continuous Blood Flow Monitoring technology will transform care for people with blood flow issues. Blood flow issues affect a wide range of chronic cardiovascular conditions, from orthostatic conditions (e.g. POTS, Long COVID, Syncope, Orthostatic Hypotension) to fluid management issues (e.g. Heart Failure and Sepsis). By giving patients and providers a real-time window into blood flow to the head, Lumia will improve the diagnosis and management of patients with these issues. Its wearable has been clinically demonstrated at institutions like Johns Hopkins and Duke, and they’re advancing toward FDA clearance for diagnostic use.
Inomagen Therapeutics is a preclinical-stage biotechnology company developing a non-viral gene therapy to improve the treatment of atrial fibrillation. It has demonstrated significant preclinical efficacy with its approach, which uses shRNA plasmid(s) to target key molecular mechanisms involved in the genesis of AF. To achieve targeted gene delivery, we have developed a novel transvenous gene delivery system that uses low energy electroporation to achieve high levels of gene transfection into atrial tissue.
Conform Medical is revolutionizing cardiac arrhythmia treatment with its innovative Atlas 360 catheter, a soft-robotics breakthrough designed to overcome the limitations of current mapping and ablation methods. Its “one-size-fits-all” design, featuring inflatable polymer actuators, achieves an unprecedented greater than 90% electrode contact for rapid, whole-chamber mapping of complex arrhythmias like VTach and AFib in seconds, significantly reducing procedure time, cost, and patient risk. This streamlined approach eliminates the need for multiple catheter exchanges and is poised to capture a significant share of the rapidly expanding $10 billion cardiac arrhythmia market. Backed by proven preclinical safety and efficacy data, the Atlas 360 promises to transform electrophysiology practice, ensuring better patient outcomes and enhanced hospital efficiency.
