About Adriana Mares
Adriana C. Mares (she/her/ella) is a student researcher at Yale School of Medicine and aspires to pursue a career in academia with a focus on structural and congenital heart disease intervention while integrating precision medicine into her future medical practice. In conjunction with her studies, Adriana is founder of the Institute of Cardiology at El Paso, advisor for the American College of Cardiology Medical Student Leadership Group, as well as advisory committee member and inaugural scholar for the NIH All of Us Research Program (Precision Medicine Initiative). She is a keen researcher with more than 30 published articles/abstracts and is recognized for her research pertaining to cardiovascular medicine and genomics.
