About Bryant Wyatt

Dr. Bryant Wyatt is a professor of mathematics at Tarleton State University. He founded and has led the department’s High Performance Computing Lab since 2011, launched with support from an NVIDIA grant. The lab quickly became a collaborative hub for STEM research at the university. Dr. Wyatt and his students have delivered hundreds of presentations and received numerous awards for their work leveraging the power of NVIDIA GPUs. Their research spans a wide range of disciplines, including astrophysics, engineering, biology, chemistry, and mathematics. In recognition of these efforts, Dr. Wyatt was named the Mathematical Association of America’s Distinguished University Teacher for the state of Texas in 2018. Over the past three years, Dr. Wyatt has focused on building a digital twin of the left atrium to gain deeper insights into heart arrhythmias.
