About Christophe Garweg, MD, PhD
Christophe Garweg, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Cardiology at KU Leuven and an interventional cardiac electrophysiologist at UZ Leuven in Belgium. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias, with clinical and research interests spanning catheter ablation, advanced mapping technologies, and innovations in electrophysiology.
Dr. Garweg earned his medical degree from the Université de Liège before completing advanced training in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. As a clinician-scientist, he is actively involved in advancing the field through research, education, and the adoption of emerging technologies that improve outcomes for patients with heart rhythm disorders.
