Ed Manicka

Ed Manicka is the founder of Calyan Technolgies, Inc., a Minnesota based medical devices company that develops cardiac rhythm management devices.

Ed is a serial entrepreneur, having founded several companies over the past 20 years. He was the founder and CEO of Corventis, Inc which was acquired by Medtronic in 2011 and the founder and CTO of Vios, Inc that was acquired by Murata in 2018. Ed has several years of executive management experience in medical devices, having worked in several senior leadership positions at Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Guidant. Ed is also an avid medical devices innovator with over 80 patents over the course of his career in cardiac rhythm management and interventional cardiology.
