Kathryn Hilpisch

Katie Hilpisch is a Distinguished Scientist in Medtronic’s Cardiac Rhythm Research and Technology group specializing in cardiac pacing therapies. Katie’s experience spans more than 26 years and includes extensive experience in early preclinical trials and feasibility studies of cardiac resynchronization therapy. For the past decade, she has been the project leader for the next generation of leadless pacemakers and implant procedure. Katie is a prolific inventor with more than 15 patents and is an author in a dozen peer reviewed journal articles on cardiac therapies. Her passion is early proof of concept and preclinical research.
