Michael Raccuglia

Michael Raccuglia, Jr. is a Biomedical Engineer and Lead Reviewer in the Office of Cardiovascular Devices at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In his role, he supports the regulatory review and evaluation of cardiovascular medical devices. He also serves as an FDA technical contact for cardiovascular device consensus standards, including standards related to electrocardiography and cardiac monitoring technologies.

Raccuglia earned his Honors Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Delaware, graduating in 2019. His academic background included a minor in electrical and computer engineering and interdisciplinary work focused on biomedical technology and device development.
