Poonam Tawde

Dr. Poonam Tawde is a PGY-1 Internal Medicine resident at the University of Arizona – Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center with a strong interest in cardiology, women’s health, and digital health innovation. Her passion lies in leveraging data-driven and EHR-integrated strategies to improve cardiovascular outcomes, particularly in underserved populations. Her current research focuses on postpartum cardiovascular disease prevention through multiparametric risk stratification in women with hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and gestational diabetes. She is committed to advancing preventive care through clinical research, technology, and collaborative innovation.
