About Ravi Shah, MD, MBA

Ravi Shah is a cardiac electrophysiologist at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. His background includes digital health innovation, entrepreneurship, policy, and strategic planning. His research focuses on the prediction and management of cardiovascular disease using artificial intelligence techniques. He lead the Penn State team to win the first Augmented Intelligence Bowl hosted by Northwestern having envisioned an NLP tool for simplification of discharge instructions. He is also a founder of the AI in Cardiology Collaboration at Penn State having received multiple grants from Penn State’s Clinical and Translational Science Institute. Ravi is a recipient of the AMA Foundation Excellence in Medicine Leadership Award.
