Rodolphe Katra

Dr. Katra is a Sr. Research Director and Technical Fellow at Medtronic. He leads digital health innovation and the Center of Excellence on Data Solutions & Analytics for the Cardiac Rhythm Businesses. With over 20 years of technical leadership and MedTech industry experience, Dr. Katra is a thought leader in digital health, data management solutions and analytics. With his world-class team, he leverages AI/ML, DSP, predictive analytics and technology platforms to advance the field of personalized algorithms, contextual arrhythmia identification, and monitoring, chronic disease management, and remote patient monitoring. Dr. Katra holds a Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA with emphasis on Medical Industry. He authored dozens of peer-reviewed publications and is a named inventor on over 50 issued patents in the areas of cardiac electrophysiology, personalized algorithms, pathophysiology detection, prediction, monitoring and disease management.
