About Rohan N. Kumthekar, MD
Rohan N. Kumthekar, MD is an attending pediatric electrophysiologist at The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2013 and completed his pediatric residency at Cohen Children’s Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York in 2016. He finished his pediatric cardiology fellowship in 2019 at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, DC, where he stayed for an additional year for his advanced training in invasive pediatric electrophysiology. He is board certified in both General Pediatrics and Pediatric Cardiology. Dr. Kumthekar’s research interests center around device development for pediatric patients, specifically regarding minimally invasive epicardial pacemaker implantation for infants and small children.
