About Scott Greenberg, MD

Scott J. Greenberg, M.D. was raised in Denver, CO, and completed his undergraduate education at the University of Colorado where he earned his B.S. in computer science engineering. Scott remained at the University of Colorado for his medical school training. Dr. Greenberg then went on to complete his internship and residency in internal medicine at Cornell University in New York, NY where he trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Following residency, he completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the world-renowned Texas Heart Institute in Houston, TX. His cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology fellowships at the Texas Heart Institute included training at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Greenberg was elected chief cardiology fellow in 2014 and chief cardiac electrophysiology fellow in 2015.

Dr. Greenberg’s interests include ablation of complex arrhythmias. He has further interest in implantable cardiac devices including cardiac defibrillators, pacemakers, left atrial appendage occlusion devices, and the prevention of sudden cardiac death.

Dr. Greenberg is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine. He is also board-certified by the National Board of Echocardiography in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. He currently is the medical director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Baylor St Luke’s – The Woodlands Hospital.

He has participated on the Heart Rhythm Society National Taskforce for CMS reimbursement, National Taskforce for Private Practice Cardiac Electrophysiologists, and remains on the Heart Rhythm Society Health Policy and Regulatory Affairs Committee. Most recently, he has been elected to on the Board of Governors and as Treasurer for the Heart Rhythm Society/Heart Rhythm Advocates.
