About Stuart Schecter
Dr. Schecter was awarded a BSE in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University, New Orleans, LA, earned his medical degree at University of South Florida, Tampa, FL, and completed Cardiology training at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Cardiology and Director of Mount Sinai Manhasset Cardiac Device Remote Monitoring System. Dr. Schecter is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Fellow of American Society of Echocardiography, Faculty of Cardiovascular Research Technologies, and Ambassador and Member of the test writing committee of the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners.
Dr. Schecter is co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of HapticHeart Solutions (https://hapticheart.health/), currently focusing on the development and commercialization of haptic feedback technologies for catheter based cardiovascular procedures including ablation of atrial fibrillation and structural heart interventions in conjunction with SUNY Stony Brookâs Bioengineering Department. He has been issued 27 patents related to Haptic Feedback, Cardiac Rhythm Management, CIED Heart Failure and Remote Monitoring algorithms.
