About Amy Tucker, MSN, RN, CCDS, FHRS

Amy Tucker, MSN, RN, CCDS, FHRS, is the Nurse Manager of Atrium Health’s Cardiovascular Device Management program. With 35 years of nursing experience—including 31 years dedicated to cardiovascular device management at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute—she leads a team of 48 direct reports and oversees 16 device clinics across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. Amy is responsible for the management of 20,000 cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) and heart failure patients. In 2005, she played a pivotal role in establishing Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute’s remote monitoring program. Amy is an active member of the Heart Rhythm Society, volunteering on the Digital Health Committee and Allied Professional Council, serving as a key opinion leader for the HRX conference, and frequently speaking at the Society’s annual scientific sessions. She has also contributed to multiple scientific abstracts for HRS. Amy is passionate about advancing the work of Allied Professionals and furthering the field of cardiovascular device management.
