Aubrey Grant

Dr. Grant is a clinician, educator, and researcher with a passion for health equity, culinary medicine, and promoting diversity in medicine. He is fellowship-trained in Sports Cardiology from the Massachusetts General Hospital and General Cardiology from Georgetown University/MedStar Washington Hospital Center. He has published research investigating disparities in heart transplants as well as the effects of food deserts on cardiovascular risk.

Dr. Grant is the founder and Chief Equity Officer of Equity Commons, an innovation firm that plans to end implicit bias, and currently serves as Director of Cardiovascular Sport & Performance with MedStar Health. He has been acknowledged as a change agent for health disparities by the American College of Cardiology as well as the American Heart Association for his passion for health disparities. Dr. Grant was also recognized in 2022 by the National Minority Forum with the 40 Under 40 Leader in Health Award.
