Bleron Baraliu

Bleron Baraliu, a highly successful mathematician, trader, and senior executive in Wall Street, built his career on advancing innovation and progress through cutting-edge software technologies, mathematical modeling, and artificial intelligence. Seven years ago, he co-founded 91Life together with his wife, an interventional cardiologist, and several friends with strong backgrounds in mathematics, technology, and digital health.

Together with a dedicated team of engineers, scientists, and business partners, Bleron is fully committed to revolutionizing healthcare, from traditional allopathic medicine to a new era of personalized patient care driven by collective intelligence from big data and artificial intelligence.

Focusing first is Electrophysiology, 91Life has built Heart+, a cloud-native, AI-infused, big-data platform that automates in-clinic and remote monitoring of CIEDs, AECGs, CHF devices, and wearables. Moreover, 91Life collaborates with ETH Zurich, the Arrhythmia and Robotic EP Unit at La Paz University Hospital, and twenty other research and technology institutions across Europe — as part of the Horizon 2020 program — working on the HosmartAI project. The goal of this collaboration for 91Life is to harness the power of AI to better understand erratic electro cardiac activity in order to enhance EP treatment and ablation procedures.

Bleron earned his Honors degree in Mathematics and a Masters in Data Science, both from Columbia University in New York. His expertise and passion for using technology and mathematics to drive innovation make him a pivotal figure in the advancement of healthcare through 91Life.
