Chris Irving

Chris Irving is co-founder and chief experience officer (CXO) at Murj, the leading creator of platforms for comprehensive device management and remote patient monitoring. Based in Santa Cruz, California, Murj delivers next generation workflow software and solutions that empower users to manage their device patients with transformative productivity and insight.

Hailing from Santa Cruz, Irving was a pre-med student at the University of California, Santa Barbara before discovering a passion for the internet. In 1995 at the age of 23, he founded his first company, a web design firm focused on functional user-centered design, a precursor to modern user experience (UX). Irving has almost 30 years of UX experience taking big data and making it usable, working for enterprises like Google and Yahoo!.

Irving specializes in bringing clarity to complexity.  He oversees everything user facing at Murj and draws on his love of medicine and innovation, as well as his passion for problem solving, to make Murj the go-to platform for managing biomedical data to help both patients and clinicians alike.
