David Lin

David Lin, MD, FHRS is Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and an attending cardiac electrophysiologist at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He also serves as Director of Remote and Ambulatory Monitoring, where he leads initiatives to improve the management of patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices and cardiac arrhythmias through innovative digital health technologies.

Dr. Lin specializes in the treatment of atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, supraventricular arrhythmias, syncope, and disorders of the cardiac conduction system. His clinical expertise includes catheter ablation, pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), and remote cardiac monitoring. His research focuses on the mechanisms of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, inappropriate sinus tachycardia, and the application of digital technologies to improve electrophysiology care.

Dr. Lin earned his medical degree from New York Medical College through the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education’s combined BS/MD program and completed his cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a frequent invited speaker and educator whose work continues to advance evidence-based care and innovation in cardiac electrophysiology.
