Erika Tyburski

Erika is the CEO of Sanguina, Inc. She has 12 years of key industry experience, bridging the gap between research development within academic laboratory and small business activities necessary for commercialization. After graduating with her B.S. in biomedical engineering, she co-founded Sanguina and developed point-of-care and home-based anemia technologies from the ground up, successfully completing chemical development, preclinical and clinical testing, design controls, regulatory and quality requirements, business development, seed and series A fundraising. The company has received grant, seed and Series A funding, obtained 2 FDA medical device clearances, and launched 2 products into market with paying customers. Sanguina’s technologies have been used over 1.5 million times in the market. She is also part of the Forbes 30 under 30 Healthcare class of 2019.
