Gordon Ho

Gordon Ho, MD, FHRS, is a cardiac electrophysiologist and Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of California San Diego. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, including atrial and ventricular arrhythmias, and performs catheter ablation and cardiac device procedures.

Dr. Ho is also a physician-scientist whose research focuses on developing personalized approaches to arrhythmia treatment through computational modeling, electroanatomic mapping, advanced cardiac imaging, and other emerging technologies. Drawing on his background in biomedical engineering, he collaborates with researchers at the UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering to develop innovative mapping and imaging techniques for cardiac arrhythmias. His research has received support from organizations including the National Institutes of Health and American Heart Association. Dr. Ho earned both his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering and medical degree from UC San Diego, completed his internal medicine residency at Stanford University, and returned to UC San Diego for fellowships in general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology.
