About Jonathan Chrispin

Dr. Jonathan Chrispin is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology, Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering, and Director of the Ventricular Arrhythmia Ablation Program at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He graduated from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA, followed by an MD degree as a Dean’s scholar from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. He completed his training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Electrophysiology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Chrispin’s research has focused on using advanced imaging to better understand the structural and electrical substrates associated with the development of ventricular arrhythmias. In addition, he has worked to develop machine learning algorithms to combine cardiac imaging and computational modeling to predict the risk of sudden cardiac death and further guide catheter ablation of ventricular arrhythmias.
