Manav Bhushan

CEO & Co-Founder of Fourth Frontier, a company developing novel wearable devices and algorithms that provide actionable insights, and help you live a longer and healthier life. Experienced in Hardware and Algorithm development, digital marketing and managing a cross-functional team.

Prior to this, I was an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science department at Ashoka University, teaching courses in ‘Analysis of Neurological Signals’, ‘Programming in C++ and Python’, and ”Discrete Mathematics’. During this period, also worked as a Data Scientist for a UK-based startup in the predictive analytics space.

In 2013, I completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Oxford University, where I worked on developing Bayesian models for analysis of MRI scans of Colorectal cancer patients. Prior to this, I completed an MSc in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science at Oxford in 2008-09, writing my MSc thesis on ‘Simulating Quantum Processes using Category Theory’. In 2008, I completing a BSc in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College (Delhi), and then worked as a Junior Analyst at Merrill Lynch (London) in three divisions – Capital Markets, Equity Flow derivatives and Interest-rate derivatives.
