About Manish Wadhwa MD, FHRS FACC FESC

Manish Wadhwa is the CEO of SummaCor, an early-stage company developing a pulsatile mechanical circulatory support portfolio. Dr Wadhwa previously served 6 years as Chief Medical Officer of BioTelemetry and Philips Ambulatory Monitoring & Diagnostics. Dr. Wadhwa co-founded Geneva Health Solutions, the first cloud-based cardiac implantable electronic device data management platform, which was acquired by BioTelemetry in 2019, and is currently a medical advisor to Implicity. Dr. Wadhwa is an actively practicing board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist in San Diego, CA.

Dr. Wadhwa has authored numerous medical papers on clinical issues in cardiac electrophysiology and remote data management. He has served on the physician advisory boards of Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Biotronik, St. Jude Medical and Sanofi-Aventis, and is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society, the American College of Cardiology, and the European Society of Cardiology.

After completing The Pennsylvania State University’s Thomas Jefferson Medical College six-year BSc/MD program, Dr. Wadhwa trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. He completed his cardiology training with two years of advanced fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University California, San Diego.
