My clinical focus has been the prevention of sudden cardiac death, a devastating problem that continues to exist despite other advances in cardiovascular medicine. I am a fierce advocate for sudden death prevention in adult patients with repaired congenital heart disease. My recent work in defibrillation science has focused on non-invasive solutions to the sudden death epidemic.
