About Nikolaos Dagres, MD

Nikolaos Dagres, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist and Senior Consultant in the Department of Cardiology at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where he also serves as Co-Spokesperson of the DHZC Study Centre. His clinical and research interests focus on cardiac arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, sudden cardiac death, implantable cardiac devices, and risk stratification for ventricular arrhythmias. Dr. Dagres has played a leading role in numerous international clinical registries and research initiatives and has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. He is widely recognized for his contributions to advancing evidence-based management of cardiac rhythm disorders through research, education, and international collaboration.
