Ricky Bloomfield

Ricky Bloomfield, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer at Oura, where he leads the company’s healthcare strategy, partnerships, and regulatory efforts while helping shape new hardware and software features to advance Oura’s health solutions.

A physician and clinical informaticist, Dr. Bloomfield previously served as Clinical and Health Informatics Lead at Apple, where he helped launch Health Records on iPhone and iPad. Prior to that, he directed Mobile Technology Strategy at Duke University Health System, where he led the first FHIR-based API integration on an Epic EHR and collaborated on one of the largest app-based autism research studies. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
