I am a clinical electrophysiologist & researcher. My training includes the Diploma of Advanced Studies in Cardiac Arrhythmia Management (DAS-CAM) by the MUMC+/EHRA/EHA in Maastricht (NL), an EP fellowship at MGH & the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) at Harvard, Boston, USA.
My research has focused on improving methods of imaging in EP and elaborating the association between anatomy and clinical outcomes in patients with arrhythmias. This has helped to develop novel anatomical indexes, computational approaches and risk stratification models for better patient selection, reduced defibrillator therapies and improved ablation outcomes.
I aspire to improve patient-centered health care and advance the state of the art in EP through computational precision-medicine. As a person I am curious and thrive on new challenges that broaden my horizons. Enthusiast of 360 leadership, communication, coaching and EI. I am a strong supporter of team work and enjoy working in interdisciplinary diverse teams.
Why? I love to help those in need, so that that they can improve their future.
