Stephen Metz

Steve Metz leads the development of Artificial Intelligence and Ultrasound Advanced Applications for Siemens
Healthineers Ultrasound business, a position he has held since 2019. He has more than 35 years of
engineering experience in the diagnostic imaging space, including 17 years in diagnostic ultrasound.
Steve started his career at GE leading engineering teams for CT image generation, digital x-ray and
mammography. He then spent more than a decade at Philips where he leads engineering investigations for the
company’s Ultrasound business and then later moved on to integrate the imaging, simulation, planning, and
therapy tools required to deliver efficient and personalized Oncology care.
