About Yaariv Khaykin, MD, FHRS

Dr. Yaariv Khaykin is a cardiac electrophysiologist, digital health innovator, and the Chief Medical Officer at Myant Health, where he is helping lead the evolution of textile-based cardiac monitoring and continuous multimodal biometric sensing. He practices at PACE Cardiology and Southlake Health—home to one of Canada’s largest and most advanced atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia treatment programs—and has spent more than two decades at the forefront of arrhythmia care, clinical research, and health-system innovation.

After completing medical school and residency in Toronto, Dr. Khaykin trained in cardiac electrophysiology at the Cleveland Clinic before returning to Southlake in 2004 to establish the Atrial Fibrillation and Complex Ablation Program. Today, the program is recognized as one of Canada’s highest-volume and most innovative, offering comprehensive EP services including AF and VT ablation, conduction system pacing, ICD and CRT implantation, laser lead extraction, and LAA closure procedures.

A recognized expert across North America, Dr. Khaykin has published extensively in leading journals and has contributed to multiple multicenter trials spanning AF ablation strategies, VT ablation technologies, real-time imaging integration, antiarrhythmic drug evaluation, and health-economic modeling. His current work includes leveraging textile computing, multi-sensor wearable systems, and AI-driven analytics to transform long-term cardiac monitoring, streamline clinical workflows, and develop predictive tools for early disease detection and intervention.

Dr. Khaykin is particularly focused on building scalable digital ecosystems that combine continuous biometric monitoring, patient-facing AI, automated triage, and virtual prevention programs—integrating these platforms into clinical practices to reduce wait times, improve patient experience, and enhance outcomes across the cardiovascular continuum.

At the intersection of electrophysiology, AI, and digital health, Dr. Khaykin continues to champion technologies that reshape how clinicians diagnose, manage, and ultimately prevent arrhythmias.
