About Alanna Miller, DNP, CRNP

Alanna Miller, DNP, CRNP, is the Lead Advanced Practitioner in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, part of Penn Medicine. She leads a team of 11 electrophysiology advanced practice providers serving multiple Penn Presbyterian facilities throughout the Philadelphia and New Jersey regions.

Dr. Miller specializes in the care and management of patients with cardiac arrhythmias and cardiac implantable electronic devices, with particular expertise in remote cardiac monitoring, heart failure diagnostics, and electrophysiology care delivery. She has been involved in developing and implementing collaborative remote monitoring programs designed to identify early signs of heart failure decompensation and improve communication between electrophysiology and heart failure teams.

An active educator and researcher, Dr. Miller has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and presentations focused on cardiac device monitoring, heart failure management, and innovations in electrophysiology care. She also serves as faculty for Penn Medicine’s State-of-the-Art Arrhythmia Symposium, where she has presented on topics including same-day discharge following device procedures, atrial fibrillation ablation, and left atrial appendage occlusion.

Dr. Miller is board certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and received her nurse practitioner training from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
