About Eugene Fu, MD, FHRS

Eugene Fu, MD, FHRS, is a board-certified cardiologist and clinical cardiac electrophysiologist with OhioHealth Heart & Vascular Physicians in Columbus, Ohio. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, with clinical expertise in atrial fibrillation, arrhythmia ablation, supraventricular tachycardia, cardiac rhythm management, pacemaker and ICD implantation and management, and pacemaker lead extraction.

Dr. Fu earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He subsequently completed cardiovascular disease training at Allegheny General Hospital and a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is board certified in both Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Fu has contributed to research and innovation in electrophysiology, including atrial fibrillation care, cardiac ablation, cardiac device management, and approaches to improving the efficiency and delivery of rhythm-management services. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
