About Nicholas Serafini, MD
Nicholas Serafini, MD is a cardiac electrophysiologist with Advocate Health and Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, where he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders. His clinical expertise includes catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias, supraventricular tachycardia, cardiac implantable electronic devices, and advanced therapies for patients with complex arrhythmias. He also serves as Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, leading one of the region’s premier electrophysiology programs.
Dr. Serafini earned his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Rush University Medical Center before pursuing fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
