Payal Cramer

Payal Cramer is a Counsel at BakerHostetler in Atlanta with 16 years of healthcare law experience. With a concentration in the clinical trial and data-based research space, she counsels research institutions, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical and device manufacturers on each aspect of the conduct of human subjects research.

Payal’s experience includes Food and Drug Administration compliance, Office of Human Research Protections compliance, HIPAA compliance, guidance for research-related Medicare billing, federal grant compliance, contract negotiation, and guidance on structuring relationships between institutions, researchers, CROs and sponsors.

She has been named to The Best Lawyers in America® list each of the last three years in the Healthcare Law category and served on the Executive Committee for the Health Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Payal earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Emory University School of Law and a Master of Public Health in Bioethics and Health Law from the Boston University School of Public Health.
