Wilber Su

Dr. Wilber Su is the Section Head and Banner Health System Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix and a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. He is an internationally recognized cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and structural heart disease.

Dr. Su completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic after earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. His clinical and research interests focus on catheter ablation, advanced mapping technologies, cryoballoon and pulsed field ablation, implantable cardiac devices, and innovations in electrophysiology. He has served as a principal investigator for numerous multicenter clinical trials evaluating novel technologies for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and has helped introduce groundbreaking ablation technologies into clinical practice.

An accomplished clinician, educator, and investigator, Dr. Su has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, book chapters, and national guidance documents in cardiac electrophysiology. He is committed to advancing patient care through innovation, clinical research, physician education, and the adoption of emerging technologies that improve outcomes for patients with complex cardiac rhythm disorders.
